I have noticed a huge difference in my posture, speed, and endurance.

Brad has been helping me train for about 2 years now and I have noticed a huge difference in my posture, speed, and endurance. My 5k time has gotten SO much faster and I’m climbing grades I didn’t know I could get to. But the best thing is: I’m feeling so much more confident navigating workouts on my own. If you’re in chronic or acute pain or just want to learn how to be better at a sport you love- Brad’s your duuude!

Do you believe that more cardio and heavier weights means a healthier you? Think again.

Simply doing more won’t fix the fitness issues you’re facing, much like pressing on the accelerator won’t fix a flat tire. It’s all about the way your body moves and how those movements become habitual – for better or for worse.

Whether you’re aiming to set new records or just want to exercise without injury, Living In Motion is your destination for unlocking your true fitness potential.

CREDENTIALS

Doctor of Physical Therapy – PT, DPT

Human Biomechanics Specialist – HBS2

Studied Positional Release therapy, fascial counter strain and advanced myofascial release techniques

Professional Mountain, Rock, Splitboard guide

As a child growing up in Wappingers Falls, NY, my early life was marked by sporting passions and frustrating injuries. I loved sports, but I seemed to get hurt just tossing a whiffle ball or turning too fast.

Driven to better understand my body, I delved into exercise science, a path that led me to study physical therapy at Misericordia University.

Despite a successful college swimming career and an avid interest in powerlifting, a back injury during my doctorate challenged my understanding of fitness and rehabilitation.

Turning to innovative movement approaches like Functional Patterns, I achieved pain relief that traditional methods couldn’t provide. My experiences fueled a journey of exploration—from rock climbing across America and Asia, to completing the Appalachian Trail—ultimately guiding me to Spokane, Washington.

Now, as mountain guide, trainer and physical therapist, I empower those let down by conventional care to explore the world through liberated movement.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have 3 main ways I work with my clientele:
– In-person at my Spokane, WA studio.
– Virtually, via video chat or the establishment of a training program.
– Or by house calls. House calls come at cost of my time and mileage, but I am happy to make the trip if it is beneficial to you!

Yes! I work with over half my clientele online. This allows an easy transition for introduction to our sessions in the comfort of your own home and with the equipment that you will be using to train on your own!

I use google meets to join you on a video call. I will send you a link at the time and meet you on a call.

Generally, I prefer if you have 2 cameras, your laptop and phone, so I can see how you are moving from multiple angles.

No. I am a Cash-based PT provider.

In a cash-based treatment model, the physical therapist enters into a contract with the patient (not an insurance company) to provide physical therapy services in a manner that both parties agree will help reach treatment goals most efficiently. This model allows the physical therapist to focus on providing the best possible care to you and eliminates unnecessary administrative costs. It’s easier for you and easier for me!

This eliminates confusing medical bills and allows for clarity in decision-making.  You know exactly what services you are paying for and the amount you are paying.

Most often, the total out-of-pocket expenses for physical therapy will be LESS for services provided at Living In Motion than at a practice where insurance is directly billed. There are no deductibles, limited visits, or per-visit fees. This streamlines billing and eliminates administrative costs. That way, we can focus on the care you need, not on what insurance may or may not allow and you can make informed decisions regarding the costs of your care.

Absolutely. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I am well versed in the intricacies and management of surgery and have worked closely with surgeons and physicians to manage post-surgical rehab.

Most clients start seeing results right away, but it’s a lifelong journey!

YES! I love working with kids ages 8+. Whether it is managing an unfortunate injury or just to help them understand how they can move happy and healthy, I’m your guy.

Absolutely! Contact me about the details, and we will set it up!

In short, Personal Training deals with pursuing tangible fitness or athletic goals while Physical therapy is going to address the management of injuries, chronic pain, or other conditions of the neuromuscularskeletal system. Elements of both blend together, but each have their clear goals and objectives.

Nope! I love getting inexperienced individuals into new and exciting adventures. If you are starting off from ground zero. Likely, we will need to build some skills and report together in clinics and lower level objectives before tackling anything epic. That way, we are both confident we can travel safely in the mountains together.
